The new faces of education in DC

Can anyone else see the charter-school connection? When Gray was the Chairman, he would always tout that there are plenty people right here in DC, that are qualified for various positions within education realm. Yet, Kaya is a 13 year resident but Hosanna and DeShawn are not, so did the national search garner anyone from the Nation's Capitol? The other connection is quite obvious too, but I let you figure that one out on your own.

Yes, I noticed a wireless generation connection with Hosanna. Dcps must have millions in contracts with that company.

14:35 -- at least Gray is capable of a national search. And he's landed pretty impressive leaders. After the terror of the last few years (as the upper white wards like to call "shaking things up") Rhee just lied and lied about her "national searches" and couldnt' come up with squat. Oh, I'm from an upper white ward. Very excited that thoughtful selections are being made, and that a pre-requesite is collaboratoin.

Ummm, Arne Duncan? Oprah? OP, what is your point? Other than sour grapes that a local from our nation's capital (yes, with an a) didn't snag those spots. If there's some grand conspiracy or imminent threat to our kids, then just spit it out. This being DC, a "national" search takes about 10 min on a blackberry.
