He's from a normal Midwest family that he's close to and in contact with. She is from a broken dysfunctional home and has no relationship with her father. It was never going to work in the long run.

He seemingly likes that though because Jennifer Aniston is also from a dysfunctional family and had no/poor relationship with her mother. A cynic would wonder if he seeks women from those backgrounds for ease of control.

She is also well liked and has lots of friends. Angelina is the opposite. He thought Jennifer was boring so he got on the crazy train and look what happened. At the end of the day, boring is probably more his speed.

Brad tried to morph into Angelina when they got together. He got involved in humanitarian work and started Make It Right. He thought her lifestyle of globetrotting humanitarian would be exciting. However, it’s not who he is. He wanted the children to have a more settled base and seems to have lost interest in humanitarian work. He was around forty-years-old when they got together. He may have been having a midlife crisis, and thought trading in his boring, normal wife for the crazy, eccentric mistress would spice up his life. He got a karmic backlash and the crazy woman is still making his life h**l eight years after she filed for divorce.

He sure got on that crazy train and is paying the price for it. There goes Brad, a cautionary tale; leave crazy alone!

This is why people are on his side. She is a walking red flag.

Well, being a home wrecker is pretty gross along with the drug addiction so I find it hard to be on her side. What is so appealing about her? Do you also cheat with married men?

Not defending her at all. I’m not even a fan, just dislike the double standard that Brad isn’t to blame for any of his problems.

He is the only one being blamed. Angelina has been treated like a saint in here. Why? She's quite problematic.
