Woman sues McDonald's over Happy Meals

Anonymous
She can't parent her kids and would like to live in a Swedish style nanny state where the government and politicians tell you what is good for you.

I can only hope it was filed pro se. Who is the atty that represents someone on this kind of crap?

Why is personal responsibility such a foreign concept to so many people these days? She can't say no to her kids so she needs to sue the company?

This woman is a patsy, let's not expend too much energy vilifying her and asking "why she can't parent."

She was recruited by The Center for Science in the Public Interest, whose legal team is attempting to launch a class action against McDonalds to make policy changes via lawsuit that they can't get through the proper channel -- the legislature.

So if you are pissed about this lawsuit ala Glenn Beck, direct your outrage at the proper target! The CSPI.

Sweden doesn't have s problem with happy meals. America has a problem with litigation.

Interesting. Though I would still like to spend some time on "why she is such a lousy parent," AND "what is she really getting out of being such an embarrassing patsy?"

She agreed to participate in the lawsuit. No one is forcing her. She's as much as the problem as CSPI is.

Good. It's about time someone sued McDonald's because their food is awful. The same goes for all fast food joints except Five Guys.

OP, here's a challenge: rewrite the same post but with no cliches. Because while I (a true liberal) agree with you on this woman, when you start writing about a "Swedish style nanny state", I just think that Rush and Glenn are at it again and stop listening.

How are their hamburger and fried potatoes any better or worse than someone else's? The same ingredients = the same result.

You don't get it. The OP doesn't care the slightest bit about a McDonald's lawsuit. His/her only concern is to link unappealing stories to the political left, whether here or abroad.

I said all other fast food joints EXCEPT Five Guys which uses fresh, unfrozen hamburger and fresh potatoes every day. Their burgers and fries are outstanding. Also, the small fries are enough to feed three people. All the toppigs are free.
