Strattera and drowsiness

... does it go away DS has been on the lowest dose and has been falling asleep at 7PM every night. The dosage is supposed to increase to 20 MG in two weeks and I fear he will sleep through the holidays. We have tried a few stimulants and the side effects are terrible.

I take it and the extreme drowsiness does go away. I do still find that I get tired when it wears off though. I was taking a second dose in the afternoon before the drowsiness set in for a while which helped.

OP I wish we had your problem. DS is 8 and takes Vyvanse and does not fall asleep until 11 each night. We were using Strattera in the evening for a while, but no luck on the sleepiness end.

OP here... We took DS off Vyvanse because he was not sleeping until 11/12PM and eating very little
