January Birthday Party - Room Rental Suggestions? (Arlington, NoVa)

Anonymous
I'm looking for a space where I can put up a modest moonbounce, bring in a face-painter and balloon-twister, and set up some tables for the kids to do a craft and eat cake for a five year-old birthday party in January. There are 25 kids plus their parents coming, so our house can't accomodate - has anyone rented a space or attended a party in or around Arlington that fits this description? I'm thinking a community center, club, church, or something like that, that isn't going to charge $600 for two hours (I've already found those places). Thanks!

I think you'll be hard pressed to find a place that will allow you to bring an outside moonbounce and set it up, due to liability.

Look at the county's website. They have several places you can rent - both indoors and outdoors (not sure of the price). They have a company they work with that rents moon bounces. I don't think its required to use them, but my guess is that if you do, things go a lot more smoothly. I think there is a number to call, you could just call and explain what you need and see what they can do.

Clifton Community Hall. Big and cheap.

Carlin Hall in the Glen Carlin neighborhood. It is next to the Arlington Co library and (I think) the County is invovled in renting the hall. I think they allow moonbounces outside.

Vienna Community Center. Also big and cheap. Maybe Falls Church or McLean have something, too?

Maybe a Fire Station that has a Hall?

But is the OP looking to put the moonbounce inside or out? It almost sounds like inside.

My son went to a party at the Lee Community Center on Lee Hwy in Arlington, and they had a moon bounce inside the building. You would rent the space and the moon bounce through Arlington County, I believe.

OP here - we are looking for indoor since January is freezing.

To the PP - how was the party at Lee Center? Was it cramped or was there plenty of room? Thanks...
