How can you tell the difference between being pregnant and just PMS?

Or does it feel the same?

Take a pregnancy test

If the PMS lasts for 9 months, chances are, you're pregnant. Or getting a divorce.

It totally depends on the person and the pregnancy. I know some people who have said they had no pregnancy symptoms whatsoever until 8 or 9 weeks. Others say they knew within a few days of conception.

The biggest difference for me is I get shooting pains in my breasts. That doesn't happen with PMS. I also tend to feel queasy by 7 or 8 dpo.

You will drive yourself crazy if you try to figure out if you are pregnant by looking for early signs. I have had nausea, tender breasts, dizziness, headaches and more during the 2ww and I've never had a positive test.

You are better off distracting yourself for those 2 weeks until you can test.

Hahahaha

(Sorry, just got a negative result today so I'm pissed/punchy/obnoxious)

At such early stage, there's barely any difference. The only thing that was different for me the first time is abundant pink discharge (sorry if TMI) around day 7-8 past ovulation, but cramps were the same as with PMS. With the second pregnancy, I didn't have any PMS, just mood swings.

Absolutely no difference for me at all. I really didn't think I was pregnant when I tested at 40 dpo.

DO NOT drive yourself crazy thinking you will know based on symptoms -- you probably won't. Just relax and do fun things during the 2ww. Stressing never helped anyone get pregnant

The cycle I got pregnant, I was convinced I was getting my period. The symptoms were exactly the same - cramps, crankiness , etc.- I just about fell over when the test was positive.

Good luck to you!
