Can regular (non-Ikea) twin sheets fit on an Ikea twin mattress?

Thinking of buying the bed, but don't want to be stuck only being able to buy Ikea sheets. Thanks!

I bought a queen sized mattress and regular sheets fit it.

As far as I know, twin sheets are twin sheets, with the one exception that some can handle deeper mattresses.

I think Ikea addressed this problem a while ago and now their beds/mattresses are std US sizes. They used to be Swedish/European sizes (?) and so you ahd to get sheets to fit at Ikea.

Do not buy IKEA sheets.. i have a standard queen bed and recently bought "queen" sheets from ikea. They do not fit. I would be content with them even almost fitting.. i can deal with a little slack.. but seriously, ikea sheets wont even stretch side to side to go on the matress and are about a foot too long. I called Ikea to complain; they do not allow returns or in store credit on bedding.
that was thirty dollars WASTED

That's funny ... I bought IKEA twin sheets and they fit perfectly on our standard non-IKEA twin beds. Maybe the fit is different per bed size? But the twin sheets seem interchangeable.

yes, we have an ikea twin and sheets from company store. found the ikea sheets too scratchy. but cute.

I just had a bad experience with Ikea sheets. We purchased a set of king sized sheets after being reassured by 3 people in the store that Ikea bedding is now standard US size. Nope. They were too small. Like the previous poster, when I went to return them I was told "no returns on bedding". The sheets and my $50 are in the garbage.

ikea sheets fit my queen but agree they were too scratchy. ended up at good will. bought ikea sheets years ago that are incredibly soft and i still use them....

The only fit issue we've had with non-Ikea sheets on an Ikea twin mattress is that the sheets seem to be made for a much deeper mattress than we have. So the length/width are fine, but I really have to make an effort to pull all the extra depth under the mattress. The wrinkling probably would bother me, if I were sleeping in that bed, but doesn't seem to bother my toddler.
