Zoloft Side Effects

Anonymous
I started Zoloft this week, today's my third day.
50 mg, one half pill first two days, today was my first full pill.
I am feeling slightly nauseous.
I was on Zoloft 10 years ago for a year, and had no side effects.

Obviously I will speak to my doctor if this continues.

In the meantime, I wondered if anyone started off feeling nauseous in the first stretch of taking Zoloft and then felt better with time?

TIA.

I felt nauseous on and off for about the first 2 months. Now I've been on it for almost a year and have no side effects that I can detect.

The first month was the worst - if you can get through it, it is worth it!

OP here. Thanks. I am back at half dosage, and am feeling much better, just a touch of nausea in the middle of the night. I think the worst is behind me. As I mentioned, my first time, I had no side effects.

I think it helped with my side effects to take a half pill for a longer period of time (maybe 4-5 days, or a week, even - can't remember) and then up to a full pill. I had horrible dry mouth, and it was gone within a week or two.

I don't remember any nausea. What I remember is constantly being ravenous and if I didn't eat something then being so faint that I couldn't function. I also weighed 20lbs more than I do now. The Zoloft was great for what it was prescriibed for, but I'm glad I don't need it anymore.

Funny, I just started Zoloft three days ago as well. I'm on 25 though - guess that's the lowest dose. Can't say I feel much better - guess it takes some time. But I haven't had any side effects either.

Zoloft killed my metabolism. And I felt numb. Which I guess is better than depressed but eventually I got off it and into the gym, which so long as I go every day seems to be better for me.
