UVA seemed to take lots of girls early decision. At our school, most of the other early decisions were athletes. |
Can someone add the Key School in Annapolis? |
Most parents who have kids attending a school are given an annual list of matriculations from the graduating class. Some are printed in the in-school magazine and some are distributed to parents. They aren't necessarily released to the general public but if you are applying at school they may let you see them. At our Big 3 we have a list we get and you can just count the number of kids going to USNWR top 25 pretty easily to figure out the percentages. |
How many are going to unknown or regionally ranked colleges, etc? |
That should be in the Baltimore forum. This thread is for Washington College admits. |
Is t that subjective whether a school is unknown? I am not familiar with several that managed to creep their way into the top 25 liberal arts and top national universities. |
Actually, it’s four years, or about 500 kids. I think that anyone who wants to can get a pretty clear picture of the kinds of colleges SF graduates attend. |
|
That’s the info. What more do you need?! Sounds like they are not sending it to you. Move on please. |
It may surprise you to learn that many people in this forum live in the Washington Metro area and are weighing schools in both Annapolis and Washington. |
Annapolis is a hike and not in the DC area. It is not a suburb of DC plus there is a Baltimore forum. |
Yeah and by these numbers, it debunks the claim that over 40% get into top 20 schools. |
It does not debunk the claim. It may not confirm it, either. If a college is in bold, at least four kids went there in the last four years. It may be 4 or it may be 14 or 24. All you know about the non-bold schools is that no more than three kids went to an individual school in this group. I think it’s safe to say that most top twenty schools are in the “at least four” group. Of course, there a several highly-ranked schools in the “at least one” group. |
