Weaning off Miralax

My 4 year old DD has been on Miralax for a little over a year. Her constipation problems seemed to originate around potty-training issues. Now she has been going regularly for at least 6 months and only takes a trace of Miralax. I'd like to get her off the Mirlax, but am a little "scared " of getting rid of the trace she takes every morning. Can anyone share how they have weaned their child off Miralax?
I realize keeping fiber and water in her diet is very important. Thanks! |

| We've had similar constipation problems with our 3 yo, she has been on mirilax for maybe 6 months. I just follow what the Dr. tells me...he recently had me decrease the amount to 2oz per day. You should probably ask your Dr. for advice? |
