Is it appropriate to ask a school for statistics where graduates end up to which colleges?

We are starting our school investigation process that would be best for our child. Is the above question appropriate? I would imagine schools have this report. Haven't investigated yet ... do college websites have this information?

I assume you mean private schools? If so, posting in the private schools forum will be more helpful. If it's public, go ahead and ask.

Any school, public or private, should be able to provide this. If not, I would question why.

You might even be able to access this info. from HS websites. I know at one point I found it online for Walter Johnson.

Yes, it's on most private school websites. And the Bethesda Magazine had a good break out in its Sept. issue of where most of the local MD public school kids were going -- most of the MD publics were listed.
