Do you know of any bakeries in the Bethesda/Rockville area that make good gluten-free bread? TIA!
|
I have celiac disease and the best gluten free bread I have found these days comes frozen and you can find it at Giant and the health food stores. It is made by a brand called Udis. Also Whole Foods has a gluten free bakery and they sell some pretty good GF breads that you can find in their freezer section.

I've not been able to find any in the bakeries but also agree that the Udis frozen is the best I've found. I think it's called whole grain. Udi's also makes a very good frozen pizza crust. It comes 2 in a pack. They are small but the taste is good and the price is reasonable...all things considered!
Lilit Cafe in Bethesda specializes in a whole range of gluten free products.
Yes I agree about Udi's and Lilit. There are GF bakeries in Frederick and Severna Park if you go near those places too.
You can get udi's bagels at trader joes
