Chicken crap?

Boehner says it's "chicken crap" that the Dems are exploiting the rules to get separate votes on the Bush tax for under 250K and over 250K. It is usually considered legislative skill to use the rules to get the results you want. Certainly the GOP showed no shame in using the filibuster rule to handcuff the Senate for the past few years. Am I wrong that Boehner deserves the chutzpah of the week award?

But maybe not as much as he deserved it when he complained that the Dems did not "get it" after the last election because they have not adopted the GOP agenda, despite the fact that, as noted above, his party did everything in their power to nullify the 2008 election.

It seems to me that the very debate is over whether all, or just some, of the tax cuts should be preserved. The only way for that to be answered is to take separate votes.

If he was hoping that procedural rules would prevent Congress from addressing that specific question, then he's in the way of the democratic process. Which is sad because he is going to run the house in another month.

You guys are just biased against orange people.

If you record Boehner's speeches and then play them backwards at half speed, they make sense. They also say that Paul is dead but I don't know what that means.

Snort! I want to avoid his tanning bed and Nancy's plastic surgeon. Thanks for the chuckle Jeff!

Look at it this way - she is Nancy and he is Boehner - clearly like Cher, Nancy has arrived?

Only problem I see is there are only so many tricks that can be played in a lame duck session. If they run out the clock it is not a good thing.
