Ophthalomologist recommendations near Bethesda

I need to get into see an eye dr. soon. I keep having problems with my contacts and infections.
Does anyone know of a good dr. in the area. I already tried Dr. Hamill and he can't see me for 3 weeks.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

James Heltzer on Rockledge in Bethesda. There is also another woman in his practice who is supposed to be good too.

You might try the newest doctor there - she might have a less booked schedule. I like the practice a lot, including the staff.

Just my non-MD advice--You might have an allergy/intolerance to the preservatives in contact solution. You can develop an intolerance even if you've worn contacts for a while. That's what happened to me. I switched to dailys and all my eye issues went away. They also make peroxide based solution that doesn't contain preservatives (I think it's called Clean Care or something). The only problem is that you have to have your contacts sit in the solution for at least 6 hours.

Alberto Martinez on Rockledge in Bethesda, at Visionary Opthamology. I imagine any doctor there would be excellent.
