does anyone watch gossip girl?

I watched first season and haven't watched much in the last two seasons....but they are in college now. Why is "gossip girl" still posting about them? Why would the high school kids at the private school give a crap about graduated seniors from two years ago?

Sorry I know it's a stupid question but they need to let that gimmick go.

At their graduation, GG basically said she was following them to college. Although we dont know who GG is, it seems like she was someone in their class/peer group, so it makes sense (in a way) that she continues to be involved with their peer group.

Thanks! I still think it is stupid. Move on guys. No one cares if you drink and puke and party. It's college and most of the class is probably scattered throughout the country at different colleges. It just seems implausible. They didn't all go to NYU and Columbia.

And yes I know there are bigger things to worry about but damn it but I hate it when TV writers get lazy.

If the continued presence of Gossip Girl is the most glaringly unbelieveable thing you can find about this show, you're not watching very closely. I am addicted to GG but it requires a complete suspension of rational thought in order to actually enjoy it.

Good point. I really find that Taylor Momsen unbearable. Not so much her character, but her real life persona of flaunting around in lingerie and smeared eyeshadow and talking about how much she likes sex. We get it - you are very rock and roll.
