I dint know why I've never made hummus. I'm a good cook & always trying to expand my repertoire, and hummus is pretty simple & something we love, but I've never made it from scratch.

Oh, you should! Even when you used canned chick peas, it just tastes so much fresher than what you can buy in the store. Yum.

I love to cook and yesterday I had to look up the rceipe for hard boiled eggs. I didnt know how to cook rice until a few years ago.

Hard boiled eggs:

Bring water to a boil, lower eggs in with a spoon, boil for 12 minutes then drain and run cold water over them for a minute or two

No, no. Place eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Cover and turn off heat. Let sit for 15 minutes. Drain and run cold water over before peeling. The most perfect creamy egg yolks ever! And no yucky green ring!
