acupuncture

Has anyone used acupuncture? I was specifically interested in it as an alternative to medication for bad headaches, but would also like to hear your experiences no matter what ailment you had.

I had a very good experience with acupuncture. I was afraid it was going to hurt but it really did not. The needles felt like a rubber band snapping on you. I really felt relaxed afterward and I think it really helped me. I used it for infertility. I had two sessions in August and in September I got pregnant. I really believe it helped and I would definitely recommend giving it a try. If you don't like it, you don't have to go for another session.

i also have had good experiences/results with acupuncture. i've used it for many years and for many ailments...with no complaints! it's much more relaxing and enjoyable than it sounds!

I've used acupuncture for many conditions and cannot say it helped me. Right after the session, I would feel better, but then the pain/headache would return a few hours later. Also, when I was going to an acupuncturist for infertility, treatments completely messed up my hormones (i.e. I was releasing immature eggs).
