Update: IUI with 8-10 follies today

Anonymous
So I posted yesterday asking for thoughts/input and wanted to let everyone know that we went for it! I got there early and pulled the other RE in the practice (there are 3) that has followed me the closest, did my last surgery, HSG's and knows me well. He told me he pulled up my info and was totally behind me having the IUI. He said he would "definitely" go for it given my history. After a few minutes of venting all my concerns, he reassured me. Honestly, he would have had to say "no don't do it" for me not do it! Then as he walked away he said "Do you have four names picked out?" I was like "Dude! That is not funny!" and we laughed as he said he was totally kidding of course. Then I went back to the waiting room and couldn't believe I just called my RE "Dude",lol. DH sperm count was 94 million, so I figure we are certainly giving ourselves the best shot we can.

I absolutely understand why so many of you would have canceled and in the end, with everyone, it is such a personal decision. I am thankful that we can share though! So we should know within two weeks if I am pregnant. I will still be shocked if I am, it has just been one hurdle after another and such a long time. I will be sure to come back and let you all know what happens!

I know it's a terribly hard decision to make, sounds like you did your very best to make an informed choice. Best of luck to you and I do hope you get the child you've been hoping for.

OP-Absolutely! I always, always get AF on 13dpo or 13dpiui, so if no AF by 14 dpiui, then I will test. I gave up testing obsessively long time ago.

Very curious to hear stories, do share! Don't make me wait!

Having a lot of general bloated feeling, a little crampy sore in my ovary area, but no real O cramps yet. I have had them really bad before, so not even sure I have Oed yet.
