Hi!

My brother in law loves music in general, especially Blues music. He is very knowledgeable about it. I want to buy him something related to his passion, a nice book, dvd, or CD. Do you know of some recent artists that came out or some cool projects/cds I can find for him. Or a nice DVD?

Eric Clapton's latest Crossroads festival just came out on DVD. It's getting lots of coverage so he may already have it.

For something more obscure, you could get a biography of a blues artist, such as Mike Bloomfield:

Also, the Albert King/Stevie Ray Vaughan album "In Session" (which was released maybe 10 years ago) just came out in a deluxe version that includes not just the cd, but a DVD of the TV show it was taken from. Strangely, it's currently cheaper than either the CD-only or the DVD-only versions.

Oh, forgot to say, while the "In Session" album has been released before, the DVD of it has not.
