Very heavy flow 1st PP period

Had baby 4 months ago. Having very very heavy flow period. Soaking thru a super plus
Tampon and leaking after 1 - 1.5 hrs. Talked to Dr and he said to take
Ibuprophen to help lessen the bleeding. I have never had this much
Bleeding before.....it's kind of scary. Anyone else experience this? Also
There were some clots being passed last night(sorry TMI)
Any advice? This is worse than the postpartum bleeding

Before my DD (2 yrs old) I had the lightest periods ever. Hardly even a flow at all. More like spotting for 4 days. Ever since pregnancy I've had hellish periods. Going through Supers every 30 minutes for the first couple of days and still heavy after that. Not sure why that happens but some of my other friends have had the same problem since giving birth. I'm 2 years out so I'm not sure if it will ever go back to normal at this point.

Everyone I know has (and me) has had heavier periods post partum.
