How do I reheat it so that the crust is crisp. It's been in a plastic bag.
What oven temp and for how long? TIA |
| You can reheat a baguette in a 350°F oven for 5 to 10 minutes, covered loosely (not wrapped) with foil, just before serving. |

You should wet the crust -- if you want crusty bread. Just wet your hands, run them over the crust of the bread, and then put in the oven or toaster oven for a few minutes.
I learned that from a Frenchwoman, while visiting there. She kept baguettes in the freezer, because she lived in a rural area. |
| Agree with 16:56. Dampen the crust with some water, then reheat as Bakerman suggests. |
