For any Sacks' patients, what was your IVF protocol? Did he start with BCP or straightaway with Lupron. Does he usually do the injectable Lupron or a nasal spray? I'm just trying to see what his typical starting point is in your cycle. I know everyone indifferent, but I know RE's may have a preference in many cases.

Sacks uses the estrogen priming protocol a lot. I don't know if he uses it exclusively, but I know that is his preferred protocol. EPP does not use BCPs or Lupron.

I think it really depends on your situation. If you have low FSH, then he will probably do BCP and then injectible Lurpon (which is what we did). When my FSH jumped up, he wanted to switch me to a protocal using Ganirelix (sp?).

He had me on BCP to start the cycle, then a combo of BCP and injectible low-dose Lupron. I think I was on the Lupron for the whole cycle, even after I started with the Gonal-F and Menopur.
