Hormone Replacement Therapy (child ment.)

Anonymous
I am 40 and was diagnosed a few years ago w/POF... we have one DC and were trying for a 2d- after 5 failed IUIs and 1 failed IVF we have pretty much accepted that there's not much we can do (out of $$ for fertility treatments) on TTC #2.. but I did notice that i felt so much better when taking the estrogen & progesterone involved w/those treatments - i have also been reading that HRT is sometimes recommended for women w/POF (at least prior to menopause)- we also would be overjoyed if we got PG while doing HRT (which i have read can happen- but is rare)- but aren't counting on it-- my question is does anyone have any suggestions as to a dr. which would prescribe HRT? I had read about Dr. Terlinsky-- but he doesn't accept ANY TYPE of insurance-- I was hoping to find a dr. that would accept insurance...

OP. I'm 44 and had my DC at 41 amazingly despite POF or DOR, now I'm having hot flashes and would like to do hormone replacement like the kind I took during the 2ww and the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. My OB/Gyn only prescribes premarin or Prempro which is synthetic and not what I want. Anyone know of a doctor that prescribes natural hormone replacement for menapause?

Dr. Terlinsky in Arlington does bioidentical hormone replacement but I was told today that he is entirely self pay-- accepts no insurance..
