finding a pediatrician?

I recently moved away from the DC area and now I am trying to find a pediatrician. It seems like all the ones that I've done research on and would really be interested in are no longer taking new patients. All the ones that do seem to be taking new clients have gotten their medical degree out of the country. What are other parents takes on this?
