Has anyone done this? I've seen some recipes online that you can make 2-3 days ahead and warm (in the oven or crockpot) the day of.
The online reviews sound pretty good, but wondering if anyone has done it. I'm sure MIL will freak out when she gets here and sees that I'm reheating the mashed potatoes, but I really need to implement some time-saving techniques here! |
| I do it every year and they're delicious. I use the Cooks Illustrated recipe. |

How far in advance do you make them? It says a day ahead but I'm wondering how they would hold up if I did it tomorrow (Tues) or even tonight. |
| I usually do them on Wednesday, but I think they would be fine if you did them tomorrow night. |
