Need Room Temperature Veggie Thanksgiving Side Dishes

Anonymous
I'm charged with bringing veggie side dishes to feed 19 on Thanksgiving. Use of an oven for reheating is not guaranteed. What can I bring besides a leafy salad or steamed asparagus/green beans? I would normally serve roasted brussel sprouts or a spinach gratin, but the oven might not be available. Any ideas?

Do you have a crockpot you can bring? Then you can keep at least one dish hot as long as you can find some counter space and an outlet. You could do something like a sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese (which I have never had on T'giving but apparently people serve it), in the crockpot and keep it warm. Will you be able to pop anything in the microwave to reheat before serving?
