What I saw Today - 12 weeks

Today was our 1st trimester screen and the 12 week mark. I was very scared for the ultrasound - I've been feeling really good and it still hadn't sunk it that I was pregnant for real. Well, seeing that baby on the jumbo-tron sure made it feel real! Baby was doing all sorts of backflips, leg lifts and arm circles - in general it looked like it was having a great time in tumbling class! I feel like I can take a deep breath and enjoy this a little more now and try to come to grips with the fact that what I saw on the screen is actually going on inside me!!! Just wanted to share my good news and let all of you very early pregnant ladies out there that all the stressing and worrying is worth it when you see your little one. I can't wait for the rest of this journey. Thanks for listening and for all of the support up to this point!

Yay! It's awesome, isn't it??

I had some bleeding at 9 weeks, and freaked out and went for an ultrasound. The very instant the image came up on the screen, the baby was waving her little arm stubs. She's 7 months old now, and this is still a powerful, emotional memory for me.

Just had mine too and it was awesome. The results aren't back yet but the sono was so cool. The baby was chillin though most of the time, I think we were disturbing his/her nap
