Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)
My dc is in sacc, and we want to get something for her teachers for Christmas. Since there are so many teachers (I don't even know them all), we are trying to figure out if we should do individual gifts or 1 gift like a cookie platter or something that they can share. What have you done in the past? TIA.
We have 4 total teachers. I get each a Starbucks giftcard and put in a little bag with some nice candy. I got Chick-fil-a cards one year because it was right near our former school.
We usually get a big basket and fill it with all sorts of great munchies and candies from World Market.
So what is the amount you put on each giftcard? |
I normally give the Target gift cards to my son's SACC teachers (2) and his classroom teacher(1) with the amount $20-25/each.
I've done $5 a card in the past. But I have two kids in SACC now, so I plan to double that.
We usually get a gift card for pizza or some other restaurant that delivers so the staff can have lunch delivered one day. We usually average $10-15 per employee. This year there were 4 full time employees so we did a $40 gift card.
We did an Edible Arrangement basket. I assumed they'd be sick of cookies and candy by now and there are a lot of them.
We give homemade treats.
$25 gift card for each at holiday; $50 each at end of year
My dh is doing $40 each.
what is sacc??
School Age Child Care... it is the Fairfax County program for before/after & summer care for kids K through rising 7th. It's run by the county but located in the schools. http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/ofc/sacc.htm |
School Age Child Care. It is a great before school and after school program for working parents of kids in Fairfax County. My dd loves it.
