I keep hearing about how delicious fried turkey is compared to the regular oven roasted variety. But no one in my family wants to fry the turkey. Are there any places in DC where you can buy freshly fried turkey? I know Popeye's has it, but I believe it needs to be re-thawed and cooked, which defeats the purpose, right?
Thanks! |
| well i saw on twitter yesterday that BGR Burger Joint is doing free deep frying of your turkey for you on thanksgiving day for a couple hours. |
That guy who owns that place is not very ethical, huge article in the paper last year how he didn't pay any vendors and caused a few to go out of business because he never paid the judgments. He asked our magazine to do an article on him and when we started to look things up on his past businesses we refused to do a story on him. |
| Fried turkey is DELICIOUS when it's right out of the fryer, but it doesn't hold up as well as a roasted turkey for leftovers. |
