Looking for an old recipe from the washington post: it was a tuna butter

Anonymous
And the main ingredients were tuna packed in olive oil, butter and garlic. It was whipped up in a food processor.

It was delicious, but I lost my copy several years ago. They've never added the recipe to the website -- the recipe is from 1999 or later -- I think it is closer to 1999 or 2000.

Does anyone have this recipe?

Here's another one:

Then of course there's tuna butter....couldn't be simpler or better.

2 6 oz cans italian tuna
3 tbs capers
8 tbs unsalted softened butter
salt to taste and pepper

Put it all in a food processor. Serve on really good bread or crackers. People freak out over this, can't figure out what's in it and always have a slightly tragic smile when they find out about the butter but...ah well.
