| I'm looking for good quality and a wide selection of cuts. I'm also a big fan of lamb. My Safeway meat counter is awful and Trader Joe's does not have the selection I'm after. Any suggestions? I'm willing to travel outside DC if necessary. |

Wagshals
Eastern Market Wegmans Costco (french rack of lamb, roast, etc) |
| Thanks! Never thought of Costco and I've never even heard of Wagshals. I'll give them both a go. |

Definitely try a Wegman's.
We just signed up for delivery from South Mountain Creamery. I'm very excited to try their products. We have what looks to be a lovely rack of lamb arriving tomorrow. I've heard good things about this place. |
| Dupont Farmer's Market. |

Canales in the indoor section of the Eastern Market is hands down the BEST. We drive all the way from the burbs for it! They've been rated the top butcher in DC in Washingtonian. Their filets are excellent!!!!!!
If you like cured meats their Serrano ham is divine....you really can't find it anywhere this good outside of Spain. Then go to Bowers Fancy Dairy for some cheese to go with it. Plus you get to support a local, family owned business. http://www.easternmarket-dc.org/default.asp?contentID=42 |
| whole foods always has excellent quality meat and fish. they also have grass fed beef, sustainably farmed fish and local and/or organic at all times. |
| New Asbury lamb is a farm that does deliveries. I've never had better lamb and it beats the pants off anything I've gotten in a store. |
