Question about early positive on an hpt

Anonymous
I did what I know I shouldn't have done which is to test late on the 5th day after a 6-day blastocyst transfer. It was a FET so there was no hcg involved. I was shocked to not only see the line, but to see it immediately and pretty prominent (FRER--so low threshold) I was happy--but a bit concerned. Isn't this a little early to be showing up so prominently? Of course, I wondered immediately if that meant multiples were more likely ( transferred 2 blastocysts). Any experiences on this would be helpful as i'm not relaly sure what to think here. Does this mean multiples are likely?? And I know the chemical pregnancy thing is an issue as I had that problem last time except the line was never dark and I tested much later.

I took a test in the afternoon on the 4th day after a day 6 fresh blast transfer and got a faint positive line on a FRER. I was pregnant with one. Best of luck!

I'm hesitant to say anything because I don't want to get your hopes up (although I am sure they understandably are) but it seems like this must mean you are pregnant! If you haven't had the HCG trigger, I don't think you could get a positive otherwise.
I wouldnt read too much into the darkness of the line-- it would just mean you have enough to be at that particular brand/specific tests number (which would be relatively low).
Having said that, it's of course possibly a chemical pregnancy, molar, ectopic etc... and I'm certainly not a doctor (and haven't done a FET myself)... but those are the same cautions someone trying naturally would have.
If I were you, I'd ask for an earlier beta test from my RE to confirm and put your thinking at ease.
Good luck.
