I have a friend who was born to Latin American parents, then adopted by American parents as a baby. Needless to say, she does not have a Spanish accent! Nor does she consider herself Latin American except in a biological sense. Hillary's parents' bios are available online, and it is quite easy to find her four grandparents as well (I believe 3 out of 4 have obituaries online; one is still living). All grew up in either the Northeast and Midwest, and appear to have lived most of their lives in the United States. If you read upthread there is information about the school Hillary went to in Boston. The Spanish accent is fake. Her comments about moving to "this country" are fake. Pretending to be Spanish (and dark-skinned to boot) when you are not is fake as well as offensive. But, she does it to seem exotic and to create a brand for herself. The way that the media perpetrates her fraudulent identity (my repeating epithets like "Spanish-born") makes me so, so curious about how many other fakers like her there are out there. |
| Hillary is a Spanish woman who is constantly discriminated! People assume she is nanny to her five kids because she has tan skin. She made video of her arm next to her daughters to make a point. She also speaks Spanish fluently and people do not like that. |
Bumping this for those that re struggling with why what Hillary is doing is wrong. |
LOL |
She.Is.Not.Spanish. Also, many Spanish people have blond hair and blue eyes. Her children are all very fair, so I'm pretty sure that's just hair dye and bronzer on Hillary. She is in costume to make herself appear the way that Americans imagine Spaniards to look. (Google "flamenco dancer" and you'll get it!) |

Here's her paternal grandfather. https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/bennington/obituary.aspx?n=david-l-thomas&pid=195863246
Maternal grandparents are Irene and Charles Hayward (prof at Bay Path University). Her obit was available a few months ago but has been taken down. Others with access to the newspaper may be able to find. This is really easy stuff to look up. All four grandparents were born in the US. Plenty of other info available upthread about where Hillary grew up and went to school. Feel free to add to the reddit thread...I am technologically clueless. |
Maternal grandmother: https://obits.masslive.com/obituaries/masslive/obituary.aspx?n=irene-w-hayward&pid=182014936&referrer=0& Unless there was an adoption somewhere, this woman is 100% descended from four American grandparents. |

Here is her original Twitter account. Not much there: https://twitter.com/hiIariathomas
Someone should check the Wayback Machine.

Y’all are bonkers. |
| Can I bet on her having dropped out of NYU yet lying all these years that she graduated? |
It was in the wedding announcement. I'm sure the New York Times would've checked that. |
Puff piece planted by his agency. The Times also says her name is Hilaria in the wedding announcement but wasn't she born Hilary or Hillary? |
Perhaps it began merely as a little white lie way for a single Caucasian airhead to seem ethnic and exotic, but she's clearly taken it to extremes and is also actively profiting and attempting to profit off Spanish/Hispanic ad appeal. It is no different than those white professors profiting off a professorship, promotions, and/or grant and research dollars because they pretended to be Black or Hispanic. |
