This is the 10th time I’ll say this….your kid doesn’t play ECNL

Ok genius. You caught an imposter that wants to write about ecnl issues on DCUM with no player in the league. That makes so much sense.

It is just as plausible as the poster believing anyone here works for ECNL.

No one believes that or cares really. Some like to come on here and Yammer on about this superstar league. Been at this for a while with multiple players and IMO, the league is the business as described above. It fine and it is what it is but all the agressive cheerleading falls flat.

Why do you always have to ruin a conversation with the same tired same old same old. Boring

Come here posting stupid whiney complaints and this is what you get.

Please. I understand why youth soccer for girls is this way and why it will stay this way and why it works well for players like mine and presumably yours and why the others are cut out.

It won't change but if only it could.

Now go on and bash some more players or parents. Yawn.

You think it’s just affluent players in ecnl? That’s a good one.

There are a few exceptions but anyone claiming lower income players have good access to this type of league is either ignorant, clueless or full of crap.

Might be an issue nationally but not locally.

It is 100% an issue locally, as well as nationally.

The very definition of “entitled” is wanting something for nothing.

Do yourself a favor. Stand in the mirror and ask, “what have I done to make my life better?”

Don't understand this post. I am not low income and I pay through the nose. But all of us that pay and who are the target market are competing in an artificially constrained pool of talent that has the disposal income to do this. That is what it is. What is entitled about seeing the biz of youth sports for what it is?

No kid is fundamentally deprived if they don't get to play county club soccer but the kids that do get to play only get to compete against the other county clubs. Oh well.

It is business. Almost all the youth sports have followed the same model to pick off the best customers and get them paying as much as possible to participate. We all should be in this biz!

Correct. And, none of the deprived kids are that good anyhow. If they are great athletes they’re not playing soccer here, they are playing a different sport and Nike will support them to play AAU ball.
