Like this coordinated WTU reply effort that doesn’t even try to make a compelling argument that WTU was negotiating in good faith on reopening, and instead just calls everyone racist.

Parents don’t create the budget for aft so you are misguided.

You are right, parents aren’t dues paying members of AFT and have no say on their PR budget. But parents vote in local, state, and Congressional elections (well, maybe not in DC) and some of them may wonder if their support has been taken for granted.

Private sector can organize to its hearts content. And I’m free to steer clear of those business.
But public sector like police and teachers should never be allowed to unionize. I can’t get away from paying them, needing their services all the while they can withhold service (shut down schools) protect the bad apples (cops and Davis) and they bargain with taxpayers money. It should be illegal
