Nah, I'm still here. Taking it all in.

You son will do great at Einstein! There is a huge hate for the school but most families there, especially with the music program are happy there.

Smart. Just sit back. Lots of crazies in the circus, but you will still get some good info.

He’ll be easy to find. Tell your son to go to the Algebra 1 class with all the riff raff and look for the “good clean cut” kid. Then ask the rest of the boys if their mom posts on DCUM. If one says “of course not!” That’s my boy.

This takes some getting used to. I grew up in another state and we had Algebra 1 in 8th grade. Algebra 2 in 9th grade. Geometry in 10th, then in 11th it was more geared to individual needs. I loved and did well in Algebra 1 and Geometry but terrible in Algebra 2. So, I took "Algebra 2 refresher" for half of 11th followed by Trigonometry, which my now-HS son told me is called Pre-calculus here in MoCo. 12th grade for me was split with Calculus and then Statistics & Probability.

I need my son to keep me on track with how different things are here! (We moved here from the Midwest in his 6th grade)
