| We were there recently for a party. The staff were kind, and my kids had a great time. |
I'm the dreamer PP. I wish someone would open a jump zone-ish, bounce-house place in lower Montgomery County!! Please, please, pretty please! |

"I'm the dreamer PP. I wish someone would open a jump zone-ish, bounce-house place in lower Montgomery County!! Please, please, pretty please!" YES!!! That or an amazing children's museum!!!How fantastic would that be?!!!!!?!! I already am ready to buy my year memership! |
| You people are ridiculous! |
| Does anyone know if the baby bunnies are still at the Playseum? Or have they been adopted out? |
| We saw a baby bunny last week. I looked around for religious stuff but didn't see anything. I agree with others that this place is a good idea but not well executed. The space layout looks cute when it is empty but not laid out well for actual use. Its too chopped up, small, and cramped. The rooms are too small and to keep an eye on your kid it is hard to get through the crowds as they move from place to place. Its really more for very young kids under 3 so a parent needs to be there. |
| I love that people feel comfortable to share their experiences with others. It is honest and helpful. Shame on the ones who feel it necessary to insult and call names to others on here. This is not the forum for that. |
Funny, I feel quite the opposite! I like that the rooms are small and focused. Those big "museum" style, um, museums don't hold my daughter's attention -- she runs from one thing to the next to the next and I find it difficult to keep track of her. I remember losing sight of her in the big, crowded Philly hands-on children's museum and nearly had a heart attack. |
| I think the concept of this playseum is brilliant. I wish it was executed in a WAY BIGGER space where I could easily maneuver and interact with my kids. That is not possible here. I cannot even bring my infant carrier around without knocking some unsuspecting kid in the head with it. During its peak hours it is dangerously crowded. |
| My family finds that the arm to arm foot traffic make the experience quite stressful. I can only equate the layout to an ant farm. Lots of people in a very narrow space. You have to keep moving and really cannot stay in anyone place very long. It's a shame because we think it could be great. |

I have been going to playseum sense it first opened. My son absolutly loves this place and I have encouraged all my girlfriends to take there children. I would like to respond to the religious issues on here and point out a major fact! I currently work in the web design and internet marketing industry and I would like to point out to some of the Mother's posting on here that the woman that started Playseum is a working Mom trying to make a fun environment for children. I do not know here personally or professionally but she is always very nice to my son, and my my nieces whenever we go. She is very kind and interacts well with the children. I have spoken with her several times and have never been approached on the subject of God or religon. This is absurd! As women we need to support each other and more importantly as fellow mothers encourage each other in business ventures. Wouldn't you love to be able to bring your child to work? That's what she has done. Please remeber that in this day and age one comment on one of these type of forums can destroy a companies reputation! This is a good and safe place to take your children and I in all honesty cannot believe that some people on here said that they would only be offended if the music they were playing was Muslim or Jewish!!! What the hell kind of statement is that, and what are we teaching our children about tolerance of other cultures? Let's all grow up here a little. I read this post and checked when I went to the playseum and the ipod was on Shuffle. So what if one song was Christian or a few for that matter?? It was not some rapper or heavy metal music talking about beating someone up or degrading women, which you here all over the place! PLEASE LADIES!! Let's be nice, this is another working Mom we are talking about here. If she has poured her heart and soul into this place and she wants to say the following on her website:
We Value LIFE-Every child is God's gift to this earth. FAMILY-The most vital part of our community. We treasure the opportunity to offer you a place to create family moments and memories while using our proceeds to help a family far away. GOD-Giver of breathe and we endeavor to honor Him in all of our affairs. It's not on the home page! GIVE IT A REST! We are all entitled to our beliefs and if it's something that they value, that all children are a gift to this earth....well they are! So go, your kids will love it they will have a blast! The staff are always nice and very diverse, and check out the petting zoo my son loves it. They have Frogs, lizard, a couple really cute bunnies. Your girls can get there nails painted and story time is great! I also went to a Birthday party last week and found it really great. The birthday girl has a severe peanut allergy and the staff took extra care to make sure that everything there was peanut safe! |

| People are entitled to their opinions. Some find it great, others find it crowded, sometimes the staff are exemplary, sometimes they are short with their patrons. If they are religious, good for them. They are not converting anyone. What it comes down to is, if you like it, please go and enjoy yourself and share the good experiences here. If you did not, share the experiences too so people can hear both sides. ie- no one wants to realize that items were stolen from the entry way. But that is how we learn the ups and downs of a business. Bottom line is we will come up with our own way to decide whether we go or not. Like any other venture, it is a business and the customer has a right to be happy spending money there. |
| just because this is a woman-owned/run business doesn't give 'em a pass on providing a worthwhile experience, treating their customers well, and trying to convert people. |
my buddy just went and couldn't stop talking about how terrific it was. can't wait to try! no word of god either. |
