And he was obviously learning from the master, Gandhi, who was able to secure independence for a whole continent.

The extremists in both cases were terrorists who surprise surprise did no good to anyone, including themselves.

And yet, MLK said he found the greatest impediment to progress in our country was the white moderate, aka, centrist or neoliberal who would rather embrace the status quo than fight for real change. Centrism is a disease, and MLK knew that.

We were never taught in school about MLK's Poor People's Campaign. We knew he was a great civil rights leader, but they never mentioned at the end of his life he was a socialist and often talked about poor whites and blacks being exploited.
