I’m not, the people posting against this name are just extra irrational and stupid.

It is a dated name that implies the person is in a low socioeconomic class. Does that mean that Stacie's don't deserve the best? No. Does it mean the world might not give them the best unless they work a little extra hard? Probably.

But just like Stormi Jenner, if her parents are wealthy enough it probably won't matter.

But you don't post on DCUM if you don't want to know what the name implies. The answer has been resounding. OP can take it or leave it.

This is literally the only place on earth people would lose their minds over this. Please know the world hates you and your self-important ego. You’re not half as classy and wonderful as you think you are. You’re an extremely ugly person. Look in the mirror. Even if you have a pretty face, you’re looking at true ugliness.

Whoa dude that is a lot of anger! I was just telling it how it is. I'm not sure what about my comment deserves this level of vitriol honestly. I said it wasn't fair but there's no arguing with how the world works.

OP here. I was not asking if people liked the name Stacie or thought I should name my child that. I was asking for a middle name that would go well with Stacie.

I don't agree with the lower socioeconomic class. There are large numbers of extremely wealthy families who name their children after their parents as part of their ethnic and religious heritage. These kids are being born today with names like Frieda, Herbie, Louise, etc.

I suggested Renne for Stacie.

Come to think of it, everyone I know named Stacy (I am 32 so I know a few) has the middle name Lynn or Anne.

Is this Renee spelled wrong or are there two people who vote Renne (pronounced like Ren?)?

While not on trend names, there’s nothing trashy about Frieda, Herbie, or Louise.

Exactly. Not sure about Herbie, but Frieda and Louise are classic, "old lady" names. Stacie is who you're meeting at the galleria to joyride in your boyfriend's Trans Am.

They aren't more attractive but they will not be an extra weight on the ankles of the child.

It’s funny because it’s true.

Do you want something more old school/great aunt-ish? (Lorraine, Barbara, Maude, Beatrice)

Traditional / made a comback (Charlotte, Olivia)

My SIL is Stacey Louise.

My Cabbage Patch Kid was Stacey Louise. FWIW, I love it and I think it’s a much better name than my other Cabbage Patch, Dodie Ellen.

Her name is actually Anastasia Elizabeth "Stacey" McGill. That would be a good option for OP.
