From Syria.

Good lord. Curious what France (and the rest of Europe) will do.

France is almost as militaristic as we are. I'm afraid of what this means.

I'm kinda hoping they will take a drastic measures. If it turns out that any of these terrorists entered Europe recently from Syria, then perhaps those of us who feared this sort of thing would happen were right? Now we have how many thousands across Europe...and all it takes is one with a gun or bomb to kill innocent people. With smart phones they can coordinate things much larger than this.

This being reported by Fox.

Also being reported by France24

I can't figure out if Fox is the very best, or very worst at the "telephone" game. They "hear" all sorts of things from anything and anyone, and still repeat them, with their own special filtered touch.

You people are behaving like biased idiots

One could almost say "you are behaving like FOX"

Seriously though, lets stop discussing Fox and get back to the actual issue.

French borders closed and state of emergency declared (which evidently means the state is in total control of what happens in France).

I hate Fox News ordinarily, but I find Shep Smith's voice insanely soothing.

30 years too late in closing borders.

People on this thread seem a little too giddy and gleeful to have something awful to post about. This voyeuristic horror is sick and pathetic. Seriously, there is something wrong with you.

What else do you expect, people posting here are just hunched over their keyboards looking at updates and trying to be the first to copy/paste it onto here.

Yet here you are!

It's useful as a news collector. And, as a former Parisian with close family in Paris, I appreciate the fact that it was on DCUM that I first heard the news!

No, there are a few creeps clearly tickled at maybe getting to say "told you so!" and a few people who are posting updates.

I'm just nauseated that this is happening. Again. Whoever you are: you are a perversion.

+1 from a Jew.

I don't get all the skepticism and demands for citations - everything is in chaos and there are multiple sources in multiple locations as things are unfolding- with cell phones - there are hundreds of first hand sources reporting their personal experiences - how is this so difficult to understand - and why doubt these people who are sharing their first hand, terrifying experiences?
