Words/phrases you dislike?

Well what do you mean, Apple? Do you mean that I should think differently than other people think? If that's so, you should say "Think differently." Or do you mean that I should think that Apple is different. If so the slogan should be "Think 'different.'"

Maybe it means to think you think differently but really not too differently because then you might not be among the millions of sheep who want an "i"-something and we won't make money from you.

People please stop saying this. For real.

Can I still say, "I just peed a little." or "I laughed so hard that I pissed my pants."?

Cause it's usually true.

Is it peed my pants or peed in my pants?

Depends. "Migraines are different from tension headaches."

But "I am a different person than I was in high school. (Thank God.)"

Since you are talking about a person, it would correctly be, "I am different from who I was in high school."

A) It would be "I am different from whom I was in high school".
B) "I am a different person than I was in high school" is much better.

What, what? You don't know what it means? Or you just don't like the sound of the word? It's a pretty standard term of art; there's nothing at all colloquial or controversial about it.

"BOGO" - don't know why, but I can't stand this one, esp since it's used all the time now. I've read it a bunch, but today I heard it on a radio commercial. So incredibly grating.

"Fashion forward"

Wow. What a bunch of linguistic curmudgeons!

13:34 Price point does NOT mean the same thing as price!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Price_point

As for "aks" that is an ethnic pronunciaton, like "th" pronounced as "f," I would hope folks would be more sensitive to that.
