The fact is, not everyone is a Christian and, as such, does not hold the same viewpoint of homosexuality as you do. You act as if there is only one legitimate worldview, which is about as close-minded as it gets. Furthermore, we are not, despite all arguments to the contrary, a Christian nation. We were founded upon fundamentally secularist principals, with the first enumerated right guaranteeing a government free of religion and religion free of government. While you are more than entitled to your believes, you have no right to impose them on others, legally or otherwise. And, if you seek to, you violate some of the fundamental tenets of your faith. What makes you think that you can overrule common usage with a demand that the meaning of "homosexual" should be consistent with the meaning of "sex". First off, language is not consistent. More importantly, YOUR meaning of "sex" (and Bill Clinton's) is far more restrictive than the commonly accepted one.

In any case, by derivation, "homosexual" means "same sex", referring to the sex (i.e., gender) of the lovers, not to intercourse, for which "sex" is a euphemism. So sex off with your nonsense quibbles.

Homosodomist doesn't even make sense. It would describe a man and a woman as well as two men or two women. Plus, there are gay people who are virgins and have nothing to do with sodomy.

To get back to the issue, a California judge just threw out the motion to vacate the ruling that Prop 8 was unconstitutional. The grounds for the motion were that the original judge is in a long-time homosexual relationship). It's a big victory for marriage -- marriage for everyone, that is.
