He's not going to make anyone happy and he's going to destroy some of the high schools that aready are already struggling and have limited classes. We are considering moving to Howard or another county and looking for new jobs or may go private. We didn't know for our oldest what the impact would be but now we know and its not good enough. |
Results matter. You can’t just “try.” |
There has to be a balance. You don't want someone who takes actions designed to accommodate the noisiest complainers at the expense of other kids and communities who don't tend to advocate in the same way. But you also don't want someone who thinks that they always know best and have nothing to learn or gain from listening to others and considering their perspectives, and who takes any disagreement with them as "if I'm upsetting people it must mean I'm doing something right.". Unfortunately it seems like he is way too far towards that end of the spectrum. |
Agreed. He is an arrogant narcissist who hammers at staff and thinks he has all the answers. We can’t fire him fast enough. |
His minions make up “data” to suit TT’s views. That is what is wrong with it, Essie. |
You go Essie!! |
Lucky why? All I see is bad planning and no accountability. |
Agree. In certain positions, the only way to maintain your sanity is to do the best you can; “what are they going to do, fire me?” Is the only rational response to a situation where you’re getting conflicting and unreasonable demands from the various constituencies you are accountable to. At some point, getting fired seems a better option than dealing with the b.s. I’m not qualified or well-informed enough to have a strong view as to whether Taylor is doing a good job, but it seems clear beyond all doubt he has an impossible and thankless job. |
Might be possible if he followed the law and regulations for public schools. |
Why on earth would I waste my time doing that? I’m happy with the status quo. If you aren’t, take your own advice. 👋 |
Sweetie, you aren’t “everyone.” |
What a passive aggressive, no-brain response. Obviously, for those with the capability to use critical thing skills effectively, it’s not everyone. But it’s definitely quite a few from different circles who are speaking up. A fair and intelligent leader would know how to address conflict in a manner that allows those with grievances to be heard. That is not happening. Thus, people are upset and are speaking up. Leave your misogany at the door please. It’s an embarrassing look for you. |
1. Learn how to spell 2. I don't think you know the meaning of the word you were trying to spell. It is not what you think it is. DP |
Another brain dead response. So sorry. And yes, I very much know the meaning of the word. Calling someone sweetie sarcastically is 100% evidence of misogyny. I spelled it right for U this time |

This is so creative. Essie McGuire and/or Peter Moran is responsible for the posts attacking Taylor, with the hopes of pushing Taylor out and assuming his role.
Both have participated in professional coups de’tat, and this is what they’re doing. She/he (they?) are using this board as a data point to support their mutiny. While this is absolutely pathetic, it’s not surprising to anyone who knows any of the parties. These are the idiots in charge of our once cherished school system. Get your popcorn ready. |
