A lot of people date new people after a breakup.

In this case Bridget and Tom broke up. He started dating Gisele. This is normal behavior. For all we know Bridget started dating again as well.

A couple months later, Tom found out Bridget was pregnant. I am not sure why people think he should have then gotten back together with Bridget. If the relationship was over, and they broke up for a reason, it doesn't make sense that they should be together because she was pregnant. It seems that Bridget, Tom, and Gisele were all fine with how things were. Tom was involved. The three of them made it work. Are you all really saying that Tom should have broken up with Gisele and forced Bridget to be with him because if you are pregnant the parents must be in a relationship, no matter how unhealthy it is and even if the parties themselves do not want to be together?

But nobody really bought the story that the martial arts instructor following her around was "just a friend" especially after what happened next. So, the speculation will continue.

The baby was born on Aug 22, which would put the conception date at about Nov 28th. Basically they conceived during their break up. She wouldn't have known she was pregnant until a few weeks later. She talked about how being heartbroken, then fiding out you are pregnant was hard but what was very difficult for her was the tabloids, paparazzi, men hiding in bushes outside her house, cars following her, and public scrutiny.

I love the poster saying Gisele ran off with the jujitsu instructor- when in reality she’s been the default parent to her kids with Tom and also to Tom’s kid with Bridget whenever that kid was staying with them.

Tom has basically boasted about missing birthdays and other holidays in order to prioritize his obsessive approach to his body and his sport. He’s not been a good parent. He’s been a sub average parent at best.

At least for the last few years before they go to college or whatever, the Brady kids have a father figure in the house who enjoys hanging out with them and makes family the priority. That’s an invaluable experience after what they’ve endured thus far.

Eh, they broke up before they knew she was pregnant. By that point, he and Gisele had fallen in love. Very messy, but I don't think they did anything wrong. If anything, Bridget may have gotten knocked up to try to keep him. Not sure there were any saints in that scenario.

+1 Plenty of Bostonians thought she accidentally-on-purpose didn't take her birth control since they were on the rocks and she was in her mid-30s.

I think his ego couldn't handle her moving on so quickly, much less having another kid and getting married. He could have made different choices and they'd probably still be married. Oh well. She seems like she's with a much more simpatico partner now. Plus she doesn't have to pretend she cares about football anymore (you know she doesn't).

I am sure it stings he's just some normal guy as well. He's dramatic as ever and should've prioritized his family.
