At least, that is my hope.
And then I pray that the pendulum will swing hard and fast back to reason.

Yep. I was hoping he'd win for exactly these reasons.

Buses in MoCo have been free for months and let me tell you it has led to an almost total collapse of society. Avoid the area if you can, it is practically Mad Max over here with people not having to load their Smartrip cards anymore. People just board the buses at bus stops, sometimes they even go in the rear door. Insanity.

We need him to go now. Shame on these guys. I vote for Chris Murphy. He’s been leading the resistance. He was just in FL talking to voters with Warren and Kotek.

Lmao.

Oh no, NYC might enjoy the democratic socialist principles that make countries like Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Germany some of the happiest and most successful in the world! Market economies with strong social welfare programs and democratic governments!

Oh no!

What will our corporate masters think!?

A mayor does not have the power to turn a city into Norway. I think people need to prepare for a little disappointment.

Seriously. PP’s have no idea what they are talking about. The wealthiest, happiest, most stable countries in the world have socialist systems.

+1 I'm happy to live in a country where all my fellow citizens have health care and don't have to worry about starving because Republicans decided to cut their food stamps.

Wow, quite embarrassing for some of these hack right wing pollsters. Atlas Intel said Miyares would win by 1 and he's going to lose 5. They said Sherrill would only win by 1 and she's going to win by 13.

She really did. I was just in NJ a week ago and people really thought she would lose. This is not a single aberration election. This is a Blue Wave.

"My victory champagne went flat."

At Jack Ciattarelli’s watch party in Bridgewater, N.J., word went through the crowd that his Democratic rival, Mikie Sherrill, had been declared the winner. A woman in a Trump hat with a matching red dress looked down at her drink at frowned. “My victory champagne just went flat,” she said, her eyes moist with tears. Nick Bruno, a police officer who is a council member in Clinton in Hunterdon County, said the advantages the Democrats have in statewide party organization were too hard to overcome. “This is a blue state. People vote the party line,” he said.

Trump's losses are all about Trump not being on the ballot.

President Trump just weighed in on the commanding Democratic victories tonight with a one-line, mostly all-caps post on his Truth Social account: “‘Trump wasn’t on the ballot, and shutdown, were the two reasons that Republicans lost elections tonight,’ according to Pollsters,” he wrote.

LOL. Is that how they're spinning it to Dear Leader? How cute.

Yup, and these were not small shifts in many cases. +16% in several counties. Blue Wave!

You'd be hard pressed to find 5 Congress members who aren't on the side of big money in 2025. It's a toxic hot mess of sleaze in Congress.
