Are you the dad who got removed from the sidelines tonight?

ASA didn’t get the Armour parent ejected, the guy got himself ejected. The ref threw him out and ended the game because the parent physically threatened the ref (who ended up being escorted to his car for his safety). I’ve never seen this happen before. Was insane.

Armour is a bad organization. At least one of their coaches recently was investigated by MLS for screaming abusive and profain language at players during games.

The same is true for ASA, just start doing your due diligence bro.

Agreed. Clip the video, it will make it easier. Here is the link: https://secure.ethicspoint.com/domain/media/en/gui/80091/index.html

So . . . an adult coach "cursed at" an adult coach in front of high school aged players? I think everyone will be OK.

$250k fine for an adult flipping a simple bird at other adults (if you can call Cowboys fans that). I think expecting youth coaches with 13 and 14 year olds around to keep their vulgar language to themselves is OK.

He was fined because he is a public representative of a multi-billion dollar industry that risks alienating customers. Not because it's immoral or damaging. Sorry, it's just not a big deal. And cool, if you want to equate the two, fine the coach $25 since that's about the difference in their net worth.

it was a joke...sort of. The thread about results turned into Armour's terrible organization turned into a comparison of the 2011 ASA coach's Armour-like behavior.

I thought the discussion was re one Armour parent from 2010 team whose behavior was so bad he caused the ref to call the game/end it early. There have been no posts that the entire Armour organization is terrible; yet some poster keeps deflecting by posting what about an ASA coach who dropped F bombs heard on the Veo. I don’t like ASA coach doing that but his behavior didn’t cause the game to end 15 min early with a W for the other team. Not comparable.
