Airlines should be required to seat kids under a certain age with a parent. We had an airline try to seat our 3 year old alone. No, fix that. |
See, always blame other people. So typical. |
I understand that it’s your right to treat your precious 8 year old the way Milton treats his stapler, but it’s my right to think you’re insane. |
I would switch seats only to be next to Mel Gibson. |
You are insane. Ask the airline, not us. |
This requirement will cause airlines to lose seat selection revenue; the response will be higher ticket prices for everyone. |
This is “jerk store” caliber response. Have you ever actually interacted with your fellow humans before? |
Moron, that's not how it works and you know it. Why do you care if you sit in 6A or 7A, assuming neither is exit row? I'd rather sit next to my friend/husband/wife/child/mother than next to a stranger. Wouldn't you? |
I plagiarized the response from you. If I'm bad for re-posting it, that would make you worse for inventing it. |
You are very clever. |
It’s very hard to choose seats on foreign carriers. I had an American carrier for my US flight and could choose to pay more for my seats for that flight. No amount of calling, looking online or anything could let me choose seats on my 15 hour foreign flight. I was dying because I had a 3, 5 and an 8 year old. The 8 year old could survive but even the 5 year old might cry and the 3 year old- no way. We even cried to the gate agents at our first flight and they couldn’t help us. Luckily the gate agents when we made it to the foreign flight fixed it all.
There should be a system that shows when a kid 5 and under is traveling with a parent and doesn’t allow them to be separated. I shouldn’t have to beg. Also we had all our flights cancelled once and when rebooked we were all over the plane. Luckily my youngest was 2 and became a lap baby instead of being separated from me. |
Nah it’s always middle row people asking aisle row people to move. |
I have had this happen but I typically travel alone. I’ve been in some major problems but it’s usually just me and it becomes an I just want to get there situation. My plans are not complicated and I would be flexible, if asked. I’m not so sure this would be the case if I had a companion. |
It didn’t happen. Minimum age is 15 and they are very strict. |
I think the person meant bulkhead. They look pretty similar space and footroom wise. https://thepointsguy.com/guide/should-you-select-a-bulkhead-seat-when-traveling-with-a-baby/ |
