Exactly this. Most men on her level are not interested in having their life dictated by her career and schedule (and she isn’t either). She also is good looking compared to a normal person but for a celebrity is probably more middle of the pack.

I'm the PP who said I don't think she can have any man she wants, but not the PP who said she has narrow opportunities. I wouldn't say her mating opportunities are narrow but I do think it's fair to say there are a lot of quality men who wouldn't want to deal with her PR machine and schedule. Taylor has made a habit of mining her love life for material. And her life is specifically about Taylor. The number of young successful partners who'd sign on for that role is limited. Then those partners have to live their lives in a way that doesn't upset the machinery of Taylor's life.

As much as I think Travis has spent the last 18 months setting up himself for retirement opportunities rather than gearing up for a marriage proposal, he might be the only palatable answer for her (parents, fans) at this point in her life..
