This is also false. Neither KB nor RP were planning to leave GFR. Will they both land somewhere? Of course they will. But it wasn't like that was in either of their plans.

Sad. I hope there isn't anything sinister involved with both of their departures. That was very abrupt if this is true.

The only thing sinister going on is with RS.

This person knows whats up!

Which is....

Who’s RS?

Rich Sheldon. The Executive Director of GFR

The genius behind firing accomplished and well-liked coaches halfway through the season with no notice and no explanation to the parents and players.

What an effective leader, inspiring so much trust with a clearly communicated rationale and vision!

Welcome to soccer. Happens to all the club. When the TD changes, there’s a clearing.

I vote to close this thread, the horse is dead.

DMV is dead, GFR brass suck, move on people the coach’s you love are gone, let’s see how this decision ages over time. This could be the best thing to happen to Kurt and Rado, ain’t like GFR is a local powerhouse let’s be real.

I don’t know if they are posting or not.

The facts stand.

What facts? Didn’t Rado resign then Kurt was let go?

Kurt first, and jury is out on if RP was let go or left voluntarily. The later would seem odd in the middle of a season though...

As a long term (>10 years) GFR family we can’t view GFR as the same club without RP&KB. Nike 7 will be a sad and cold lot without those two. Fortunately we are almost done with it.

Came here to say this. Luckily we don't have many more seasons until we complete our travel soccer era. Bittersweet at this point.

The new changes are just going to make the community feel go away which is a shame.
