Lolz mom and pop landlords got their ass handed to them during 3 years of Covid. Most have gotten out of it. What a nightmare. |
It’s more like million+ equity, but thx anyway ☺️. |

Ask Mayor Adams. He’s put all the nonsense on record. |
Are you trying to impress people? Please. |
What is the point of such a miserable life? |
Also what we did just a few years ago. I was so happy thinking we could sell the DC house and use the equity to pay off the NC beach house and live there. But with all these hurricanes, we're starting to rethink it. Maybe better to sell the beach house and pay off the DC mortgage. |
I know, right?? Why didn't everybody buy a beach house in their 30s? Duh. It's just common sense. |
You keep your mouth shut instead of saying, “You are going to die soon so live in any old place til it happens?” |
Time-blessed elder millennial with a tiny forever house bought in 2009 here. I am frustrated that we don’t have affordable housing for boomers or other people who have more house than they want. Because we don’t have thwt affordable housing we don’t have affordable housing for people looking to buy a house. Then we also have trouble with affirdabme housing for renters because rental prices are inflated because of demand and richer people who can pay. This is why we support more development! |
| Senior living is the industry to be in. Developers should get on that $$$$ |
It’s not miserable.. it’s resilient and strong. The addiction to slovenly eating out, expensive distractions and being served leads to envy and tantrums when the big goals are impossible as a result of weakness. |
Boomers don’t want it. See OP. She wants luxury locations on the cheap. |
Oh, so Living+? |
Yeah well we eat out several times a week, own 2 SUVs outright, go on 1-2 international vacations a year, and just bought our second home. All through the magic of simply making more money than you. Much easier and more fun than your monk schtick. |
